How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

John, Vikas, Michael—

Your responses make me think there ought to be a roadtrip thread—a thread of byways and backroads journeys, with as much personal anecdote and rumination and associated memories as the posted images can accommodate. 

Limiting it by camera model (I.e., M10) would probably be the wrong approach. But couldn’t it be in the most general image forum here?


Maybe one already exists. I’ll look around. If y’all like the idea and know where to start, please lead the way.

My first vacation with my used M10 and 35mm 1.4.  I also took my SL2 with the SL50 and SL24-90. This was the first time since I purchased my first Leica's last year that I actually used them away from the house. By the way, this is the Hotel used in HBO's White Lotus.

Hello Robert.  A very evocative atmosphere in this picture and a good idea on the road trip thread.  I couldn’t find a topic or thread so I started something up with a couple of pictures I had easily available.
