Went for a little fishing village stroll, left the house with the threat of rain... and it wasn't just an empty threat!!

Decided that I'd give the TTArtisans 50/1.1 a go seeing as I've never tried it on the M10, only tried it a couple of times on the preceding 240, well in fact to be honest I've hardly picked that lens up since it inspired me to buy a 50 Lux ASPH a couple of years ago!!

These aren't quite wide open, somewhere between 1.1 and 1.4 (clickless aperture, so no clue), the green building with the red chair and the seagulls on the roof shot (catchy title right?) might be f2.8

It was good fun, but I can't help be reminded of why I ended up with a lux and "benched" the TTa for two years 😅

7artisans 50mm f1.1 (or as you said TTArtisans 50/1.1?

I agree with you with respect to the 7artisans, and fell into the same trap you did, bought the 50 Summilux.

The 7artisans 35/2 however isn't too bad, I'm liking that. And, to thoroughly confuse, I also have a TTartisans 35/1.4 in L mount, on the T, it is as good as I need. And very cost effective.

Yeah 7artisans. Sorry for my confusion

I got it secondhand for less than 2 M batteries cost so it’s great value, but when judged by any other criteria it doesn’t stack up to much

(of course what’s in the photo is more important than corners, distortion etc and no I don’t mean these snaps here)

But I’m glad I gave it a whirl on the M10, iirc… it plays nicer with the M10 than the 240

Liking this set.  Your pictures make me miss SE Asia.  Looks like an add for condensed milk on those glasses.  I’d love to have a strong kopi  with condensed milk right now 🙂

Had a few hours' spare time at Pinkham Notch yesterday, so walked up past the Hermit Lake Shelter, to take a look at Tuckerman's Ravine.  The shelter was once known as HoJo's (short for Howard Johnson's).  The original HoJo's has burned down and been replaced by smaller structures more than once since I first visited.  These visitors wouldn't even know what the nickname refers to.

Pastor Arvetry Jones at the Jones Evangelical Center, Aberdeen NC. I used the M10M extensively on a 2021 documentary project titled “Meditations on Juneteenth in the Carolina Sandhills.”
