Wistfully, I remember when you declaimed that you'd have your camera in two weeks from this outfit, sneering at BH. Then, you ended up getting your camera from BH, and this place fell through. Saw another one this afternoon - sold by Leica store in SanFran - I bought it. Order set for delivery on Friday, still haven't seen it hit my credit card yet. I would have liked to do that but I only have so much will-power and thought I might have to wait 2+ years. I also wondered what an M-P10 might possess over and above the M10 (other than, of course, no red dot.) My M-P 240 also has a 'harder' LCD screen, 2 GB buffer, Preview Lever, and whatever (I've forgotten the differences.) Time will tell, as they say! Good Luck holding firm! I hope to have a good experience (obviously) I don't expect the camera for about 5-6 weeks given what I was told from them. I have heard good things from those that have dealt with them. Cameraland orders generally drop ship straight from Leica I believe - I don't even think it passes through the store. I am not in big hurry to get the camera, nor do I want to wait forever. Cameraland seems to be able to deliver in a reasonable amount of time given the supply issues. Ordered an extra battery and that too also came direct from Leica when ordering from cameraland which I didn't mind at all. I had a good experience with them. Guest Posted July 4, 2017 Share #1477 Posted July 4, 2017 Well this is weird.......Knowing that the M10 was as rare as hen's teeth pretty much everywhere I decided this morning to email four Leica dealerships here in SW France just to see what the wait time would be if I placed an order and joined their queue. Four hours later one dealer emailed me back to say that they just had a black one in from Leica this morning and would I like to buy it? Amazon said there was nothing I could do other than cancel and re-order. We went back and forth so many times. I had asked what would happen if the card declines the purchase - automatic cancellation. He canceled the order and we ended the call. He called back 10 seconds later and said that if the card is declined you can change the purchase method. "But you just canceled the order." "Oh. I am so sorry.
