jaeger Posted August 3, 2021 Share #7766 Posted August 3, 2021 Interesting, some time ago, I was told to remove my photos here becoz I didn't use Leica body on a vintage lens. Although I will never share anything here even with M body, but the moderator is truly rubbish.

I am not the arbiter on what pictures are allowed, Jean-Marc, but for clarity I post an excerpt from the Forum's published rules and a link to the full set: "Prerequisite for placing a photo is that it has been made with Leica equipment and/or has a strong relationship to a Leica subject. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes the use of Leica lenses on third party bodies, Leica lenses on Leica partner cameras (e.g. Panasonic) and the use of third party lenses on Leica bodies. In general, photographs taken without the use of Leica equipment are not permitted." The Forum's rules. Pete. 🙂

But who really cares about digital anyway. 😄 Sorry: I missed your subsequent reference, so mine is now redundant. L mount bodies (Panasonic and Sigma) are okay, too, and I believe they can have similar lenses, too. Hi Ken, To clarify, I'm not aware that it's okay to post a picture with, say, a Sigma L-mount body and a Sigma lens. The rule was always that it had to be at least a Leica-badged body and/or lens so a 'Panasonic partner' camera such as the Digilux 2 or its equivalent the Panasonic LC-1 which has a Leica-badged lens are okay. I'd be grateful if you'd point me to where the Forum's rules exempt a non-Leica L-mount body and lens pairing please? 🙂 Pete. Welcome, dear visitor!
