Well spotted.  I'm not a Moderator so I have no authority or ability to remove pictures.

@genji Since you're new here you might not be aware that the forum rules state that only pictures made with a Leica body or lens or both may be uploaded to the forum.  The only exception is the 'I Love Film' thread.

Pete.

Please accept my apologies. It won’t happen again. It doesn’t seem possible for me to edit the posts to remove the pictures. Is there someone I can contact to have the posts removed entirely?

@genji
we can only edit our own posts for a limited time after we posted it.
however, left from the post number in the upper right corner of a post, there are the 3 dots for 'more options'.
one of them is report. this will send a message to the moderator team with a link to the message. you can explain why you 'report' your own post.
I wonder if any of the moderators will take the time to delete the post though.

Corners are not perfect and CA is quite noticeable, but it's not too shabby for a lens that has a reputation for being the worst of the Contax G lot.

Thank you. I have filed reports on the two offending posts, asking that they be removed.

I'm really enjoying this Chiyoko Super Rokkor 50/2. It's supposed to be a Summitar clone and I can see hints of it. Not quite as wild and untamed but still an interesting lens for my M240. A view of a usual suspect...

Picked up one of these out of curiosity, to compare with my copy of the Helios-103. They are supposed to be the same lens, the Menopta having been manufactured in smaller volumes over a few months in 93-94, possibly with leftover parts, several years after production of the Helios-103 had ceased. Some say the Menopta was an “export” product, others that it was a “special edition” offered as an alternative to the J-8 for the Contax Kiev cameras.
