Peter is right – it's a kind of push-in and rotate movement using just your thumb and the centre of the ISO disc. It can be a bit fiddly to do and might require more brute force than you are currently using.

The ISO selector on the current MP is not one of Leica's greatest engineering achievements (I've always though it is a bit cheap and nasty and not up to the standard of the rest of the camera). The previous version found on the M6, M6TTL and initial stock of the MP was better.

I accidentally managed to rotate it, but I cannot figure how to properly grasp it.

This video shows how to do it, but still I´m at loss here:

That YouTube clip is misleading because its trying to show 'play' (or looseness) in the owner's ISO dial not how adjust the ISO.:)

Pete.

I just posted this on a different thread (w.r.t. the silver 50mm Summilux), but I thought it could go here as well.

Here is my MP in its new form. The black summilux has been replaced with a silver one. Even though the optics are identical, the look and feel is quite different. I like it.

Sick Ned, just sick.

Yes, that was one Sick Trio... But now I'm left with only two MPs instead of a MP, M7 a la carte and M6 Millennium. As long as it's Shamefully Expensive and Luxurious I guess it's all it takes :D
