RITskellar Posted March 10, 2012 Share #2561 Posted March 10, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Someone should start a thread called, "I love my Supple Leather Protective Case". Meanwhile, back to our regularly scheduled program. Here's a blurry MP.

menos I M6 Posted March 11, 2012 Share #2563 Posted March 11, 2012 (edited) Andy, this looks beautiful with that Vulcanite leatherette - much nicer look, than the regular leatherette (and nicer to use on top). @Ned - you have photographs scanned and online, you did with that Canon .95 ? i would be very interested, what you do with it ;-) Edited March 11, 2012 by menos | M6
NB23 Posted March 11, 2012 Share #2564 Posted March 11, 2012 (edited) Dirk, I have taken many shots with this combo but not yet scanned... The image from f4 rival my 50 LUX ASPH, as crazy as it may sound. Wide open, there is some magic operating. As soon as I scan a few, I will let you know. I really like this lens. I'll probably end up choosing this one and only lens for my next trip in order to have a consistent body of work from it. lincoln_m Posted March 12, 2012 Share #2565 Posted March 12, 2012 Can you see anything through the viewfinder with that massive lens (Canon f0.95) on ? Is it rangefinder coupled at all? I too would like to see Canon nocti v Leica Lux (ASPH? or non asph?) Regards, Lincoln
NB23 Posted March 12, 2012 Share #2566 Posted March 12, 2012 Can you see anything through the viewfinder with that massive lens (Canon f0.95) on ? Is it rangefinder coupled at all? I too would like to see Canon nocti v Leica Lux (ASPH? or non asph?)Regards, Lincoln Yes, I see a lot. I only lose 25% of the image, from 3 to 6 o'clock. The patch is 100% clear. This doesn't bother me at all since even the noctilux, the 50 lux asph, 28 cron (and so many others) protrude in the VF. The focus is absolutely perfect, to a hair! I'm very pleased. Double Negative Posted March 13, 2012 Share #2568 Posted March 13, 2012 That has always been my practice. Weird though, on my Verdigris cameraleather cover for my M3, I put the conditioner on and it is now a dark green. Not sure if that is a permanent change, but the leather is definitely more supple! Dave, that's temporary. Since you're "moisturizing" the leather, it darkens. It will slowly fade to what it was before.

SteveYork Posted March 30, 2012 Share #2577 Posted March 30, 2012 I sold my MP of 9 years. I liked it as my only camera, and for 4-5 years it was my constant companion, but as I started collecting older cameras it felt more and more fraudulent. And then after I got an M7 a couple years ago it didn't get nearly as much use.

enboe Posted March 31, 2012 Share #2579 Posted March 31, 2012 My seven year old MP had to go in to customer service due to a stuck frame line display. I'm afraid even my 5 year extended passport won't save me this time, but who knows.
