Per! What are you doing! Is this something to do with your S2??

Pete

Leica MP Black chrome | eBay

Pete, Yes it has! I planning a book and some large landscape prints so the S2 is a necessity. I will still be shooting 90% with my other black paint MP and M6 millinium. The one I'm selling I did not really see much use any way and this sale will help my buy the 35mm S summarit for the S2.

Thread needs a bump....

MP with 35mm Summicron asph. Yesterday on Kinder Scout. Current heatwave has brought a lot of haze now!

Not sure I like the way mine is wearing but as it is used daily I shouldn't complain. Gets tossed in the bag, crashes around against the lightmeter, lenses and other camera. Bounced around on the bike, dragged across the beach, sandblasted by sand, wind and salt spray. But, it feels very smooth mechanically, took awhile to bed in but nearly as smooth as my M2.

Maybe treat it to a couple of coats of Hammerite.

...hmmm, that's a significant level of localised wear, Andy. And perhaps not the most appropriate regime for the maintenance of a precision tool. IMO.

Andy,

You're spoiling your MP because you're not hammering in nails with it. Or are you ... ?

Pete.
