I own four of the first-run MPs (don't ask), and they did suffer from dust ingress around the eyepiece, but Leica cleaned and sealed them for free. Enjoy. Only two and a half years old, which leaves me with two and a half years of warranty. That is really nice. It is from 2015 and I quite like the newer engraving on the back saying "Leica Camera Wetzlar Made In Germany". I was eyeing an MP ever since I started with my father's godfather's M5 about ten years ago. This MP and my silver M4 make a perfect set and I feel like this might be the last film M I ever buy.
