I have to admit... I have never used the M's video, but I have used the iPhone from time to time even when the M was hanging from my shoulder. Then again, I am no videographer! No $$ has changed hands yet, but there's a list. *sigh* I have been on the list since the last June I thought M10 would have been introduced in the Photokina event, but it has been 7 months. I hope to be the first or in the first 5 of the list When I check the release dates of the last Leica models , for Q it was an immediate release AFAIK and for SL it was the beginning of the next month. If I understand correctly , M10's release would not take so long, but of course the production capability of Leica won't be enough for all requests immediately. Then again, the ergonomics of a 'phone are probably better for videography. The rangefinder form was not designed for shooting video whereas 'phones have fully embraced it apparently . Interestingly, one rumour I had heard a while back was a new aluminium body and 40MP sensor. I have my doubts about that but would buy that instantly. Am certainly interested to see tomorrow.
