I absolutely love photographing snowflakes. They are a tremendous challenge. I let them fall on a black micro-fiber cloth and then move in close and take a series pf photos to try and get one sharp. The temperature and humidity were perfect. I will add some kind of scale in the future, but these guys are small. I'd guess 1-2 mm. The resolution of the Q2 allows the strong crop. . Leica Q2, 1/250, ISO 400, f/14, Macro mode, Murami Close-Up filter, Manual focus, Canon MR-14 EX II ring flash, handheld.
