yes, you are right, those rooms and halls are interesting because they are being made to work with light for they have their own light concept corresponding with the room.

Very nice images, I think the color rendering is right on. On a dull day that's how they look.  This Baroque palette tends to be muted with softer pastels, less so then the much more saturated colors of Italian Baroque.

for your detailed and interesting comment. I think you are right that this type of baroque painting is different than that of the Southern countires. The diffuse light in the region like ours is telling a lot about art.
