MM1 not formatting 64GB SD card

so this is the 2nd Samsung 64GB SD card that my MM1 will not recognize or format.

I've even tried formatting it on my desktop but MM1 still won't recognize it.

The only solution is that I have to format it in my M8 then install it in the MM1 and it's fine but this just does not seem right to have to use the M8 just to format a card.

Any thoughts about this?

 

This latest card is a Samsung 64 PRO card rated at 90 read and 80 MB/s write speed.

Storage media : SD cards up to 2GB,SDHC cards up to 32GB.

Your card is way ahead of the camera
They keep growing the size of SD cards it's crazy.
But for your information up to 32GB.

Oh no! You musn't go over 16gb on MM1 .8gb will be the best performance.  Also 30Mb /s seems to be the limit.
