The Chapel, Burghley House Stamford Lincs UK

The altarpiece painting is 'Zebedee's Wife Petitioning Our Lord' by Paolo Veronese (1529-1583). The chapel is 'out of bounds' - hence photographed from the roped-off entrance archway ...  otherwise I might have tried to straighten the carpet.  Leica SL 601 / Leica R PC Super Angulon 28/2.8 shift lens ... handheld ISO 1600 1/13sec f11. Planning to attempt a close-up of the painting using a longer lens.

If you have the Leica Pocket Book 8th Edition, please examine the 19mm R Mk II lens' MTF chart at medium apertures ... it's a super lens

Boranup Forrest WA - I discovered a set of focus stacked frames taken a year ago. I dont know why I shot them, the 21 SEM lens is sharp enough.

Interesting, Ken.  I've never done any focus-stacking so has it increased the saturation owing to its intrinsically additive nature or has the saturation been increased separately?

Pete.
