Log gamma

I just read a disturbing article on Dan Chung's website, "News Shooter".

He thinks  there is something wrong with Log gamma setting in the SL.  It is so bad that it can't

be graded.  Go to his site for a complete analysis.

 

If the SL does have this Log problem, Leica needs to look at this very carefully.  Maybe they

have a different idea of how to grade the signal from this camera.

I hate to be a nudge, but what is the story on this L-gamma problem?  This is a potential disaster for video 

shooters with the SL.  I think there must be a software fix for it, but if not, then Leica has lost all of its mojo

for video.  MJH do you have any answers for this problem?  We need to know about this now!!!
