I haven't found it to be an issue.  I like how it forces you to consider the context and display it appropriately in the final image.   When needed, the file is strong enough to crop a bit.

How has it been adjusting to the 28mm FOV, or is that a go to length for you?

I got my notice from Leica store Kyoto today.

I ordered it on August 5th.

Great to hear you got it so quick!  I just got my name on the waiting list at the Leica Ginza store on Aug 18th.  Hopefully Tokyo is as fast as Kyoto.  I got a trip to Taiwan on Sept 20th and would love to have it by then.

Finally mine arrived yesterday, I've ordered on July the 10th at  the super helpful and lovely people at Richard Caplan.

They had received only 2 though..

I had to say.. I had a little play with the Q before I sold my M8 and brand new T (hard decision) and now I finally have it, I don't regret it at all !

For those waiting... stay strong!!! is worth it!

Leica store Manchester have just emailed me to say they have limited stock in, free delivery. Get em while they're hot!

Me too: I'm waiting to see what is announced within the next few weeks, as 28mm is a little too wide for me on a single-lens camera. That said, what I really mean is that I am used to 35mm and 50mm on the M, because it's impossible to see the 28mm frame when wearing glasses. Maybe I'll find 28mm to be ideal, but if an interchangeable lens A.F. camera with Leica lenses is a possibility I may as well wait; although the wait is killing me!

I went for an m9 with a 50mm Summerit in the end for a similar reason. Plus I couldn't wait any longer! The Q is a fine camera but I really wanted the rangefinder experience.

I'm exactly on the same boat. I don't want to commit to a current Q in case an AF with interchangeable lenses version comes out. 28mm is fine with me since I don't particularly have a favourite frame.
