How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

Between this "Leica S700 S100 f2 Summulux" (camera name error, lens name error plus spelt wrong) and a watch lens I am sure you MUST be doing it deliberately....

I just thought it was a picture thread....... who gives a sh!t if it's a sumalux or s timex........ it's just a picture in the Leica S tgread

If you don't know the names of your gear then why even 'try' post it along with the image if you actually think it's of no interest to know what gear it was taken with.

To be honest, I don't really care what a picture is shot with. None of the great photographs contain any information about the camera or whatever. Just my point of view.

Okay I agree guys I don't care what camera has been used but the point here is as follows:

 

Neil says he doesn't find it important to state with what gear he took a photo BUT he does ALWAYS state his gear, or tries too..

 

It's hypocrit to say that he things its information nobody need, but always posts the gear he took it with (filled with errors) beside his photos... 

 

See the irony there?

Yes I will grant the irony ....

 

As an aside ... what is it about the language culture upbringing that allows you to be ... rude arrogant blunt when it is all about a picture.

 

Perhaps a more collegial approach to the offender would garner a better response.

 

Proverbs 15:1 come to mind ... mine at least.

it is indeed. Soho :)      I was over there for six weeks, shooting ...  

 

Nice! I have much less interesting pictures of those same buildings. :) My brother-in-law has a studio on Wooster between Prince and Spring.
