It wasn't me, Alan. I've never had the chance to use M / R glass, unfortunately.

Bloody marvellous lens, though. It's made the S2-p a walk-about camera; and even the most mundane things are worth photographing with the lens's rendering style.

I said that, but didn't think it was on this forum. I still think it's true BTW!

Thanks Jon!

The lack of a wide T/S lens is a huge sore spot to me as well, especially since Leica did tease it (sort of) at one point. This was the only real stress in going with the S for me.

For these images, I used the Leica 24mm Super-Elmar-S. This lens is a bit wide for me, but it does not display, to my eye, the stretching that occurs in lenses this wide. Anyhow, I did purchase this lens on purpose with the idea in mind that the extra width would help me when (forgive me please) I needed to correct verticals in post. Anyhow, I did not use any such method today on these images, but I did shoot an exterior in which I had to correct verticals in post. For the interior today I simply played with the height of my massive tripod and had an assistant follow me around with a small ladder. No kidding. These were shot in available light and single exposures.

Thank you for the explanation.

Did you change the bulbs in the practicals? I think the white color of them added to the image.

Great series!

One just for grins.  ISO 400, S006, 70mm at f5.6.  Uncropped. Lovely bokeh!
