Seize the moment.

Andan’s relaxed body position.

Catchlights in her eyes. (the wine helping, maybe).

The highlight reflecting on the leatherette sofa.

I had a choice.

Either I continue to eat Or I pick up the M10 and capture this moment.

M10 Monochrome. 35 mm Summilux. ASPH.

You had NO choice.

Forgo the eating! Get the picture!

You did well.

... and the food was still waiting.

Very nice moment, ,beautifully captured.

Thank you Erl. And the food taster better once I had taken the photo First: .Food for the soul. Then, food for the body.

Very beautiful portrait. Tired but relaxed. I like the tones of grey and blacks. Regards. Carl

I normally prefer BW, but in this case I'd say neither looks better. They're just different and equally appealing.

A cooperative stranger I met while exploring a now-unused military battery, completed in 1905, in the hills north of the Golden Gate Bridge. She had the puppies in her pockets … M10M, 50 Summilux.
