Since the release of the new firmware and the greatly (hand) simplified position of the EV change wheel, I'm making much use of this setting in everyday shooting.

Indeed, especially now that Auto-ISO in manual mode is working.

Agree....for me too...this is biggest re-feature.

I find that I'm paying much more attention to the EV set and returning it to zero. Note to self - switch it back to the old way of working.

Strangely I have found myself going back to the previous setting of EV compensation as I have found it just to easy too accidentally move the wheel and dial in compensation by mistake. I do though have a small rubber dot glued on the front button which makes pressing and locating the button very easy so actually I have never had any problem with the ease of changing EV
