Popular Post bags27 Posted July 21, 2020 Popular Post Share #70331 Posted July 21, 2020 (edited) My friend was buying his new M10R. That plus an appropriate lens costs around $12k. For that, you could buy around 400 Holgas. HP5 in Cinestall DF96. On the left, his ghost is an inadvertent double exposure of my friend. All is good with a Holga! Welcome, dear visitor! gbealnz Posted July 21, 2020 Share #70335 Posted July 21, 2020 I'd say the son looking through the lens-hood shot trumps the jonquils. Nice shot, all three. Gary

To me it also shows that the Superpan is sensitized into the near-IR. This oftentimes causes the skin of subjects to take on an ephemeral, marble-like, translucent quality. Contrasting with the eye and the eyelashes works superbly here.

I had to pick Other reason in the recent thread where one is asked if one is interested in the new camera. As much as I like that Leica innovates and stays in the game, I am wholly uninterested in this camera. I'm actually surprised that people do not complain more about the constant specs-baiting that's been going on in the digital sphere since the advent of digital. The cost of the M10R would sustain a film shooter for a very long time but each to their own etc. Speaking of innovation, I'd be very happy if Leica decided one day to issue its own films. There's a gaping hole in the market for ISO400 transparency film. A pipe dream I know but still. 5 hours ago, bags27 said: My friend was buying his new M10R.
