Thank you Ken, that's a way more intelligent and philosophical interpretation than I'd ever manage to come up with, much appreciated.

Quite interesting study in low light photography. The nearby lighted face in focus, but the Michael Kors sign showing camera shake. Maybe it’s a metaphor for how luxury businesses are doing right now.

From that same evening in Stockholm last year blasting people in the face with the terrific little SF24. This gentleman was quick enough to put on his shades 😎😁

Yes, really nice. To me it also shows that the Superpan is sensitized into the near-IR. This oftentimes causes the skin of subjects to take on an ephemeral, marble-like, translucent quality. Contrasting with the eye and the eyelashes works superbly here.

And this is priceless, such a terrific memory and brilliantly executed photo too.

Really cool photo Ken. I had to pick Other reason in the recent thread where one is asked if one is interested in the new camera. As much as I like that Leica innovates and stays in the game, I am wholly uninterested in this camera. I'm actually surprised that people do not complain more about the constant specs-baiting that's been going on in the digital sphere since the advent of digital. The cost of the M10R would sustain a film shooter for a very long time but each to their own etc.

Speaking of innovation, I'd be very happy if Leica decided one day to issue its own films. There's a gaping hole in the market for ISO400 transparency film. A pipe dream I know but still.

My friend was buying his new M10R. That plus an appropriate lens costs around $12k. For that, you could buy around 400 Holgas. HP5 in Cinestall DF96. On the left, his ghost is an inadvertent double exposure of my friend. All is good with a Holga!
