Nice one, Phil. Makes me think of Bull's Eye – Bill Sykes' dog in Oliver Twist.

Thanks, Pritam - I'm pretty sure this one was leaving blood-stained footprints, too. Hmmmmm.

Love that last shot of yours, by the way, the lads strolling down a street in, maybe St. Kilda?

I am happy that you tried pinhole photography, and also to see what nice results you got! Well done!

Here is my humble contribution to the pinhole day, a lazy sunny Sunday afternoon at the river.

This is wonderful, Christoph - I'm certain you must have had the ghost of Alfred Sisley whispering in your ear during the exposure: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfred_Sisley#/media/File:Alfred_Sisley_-_Rest_along_the_Stream._Edge_of_the_Wood_-_Google_Art_Project.jpg

Ah, that's a great idea, thanks Steve! I will try that asap with some foil from a Nespresso capsule :D  I feel like a photographic pioneer here.

That’s bloody magnificent - dream like!

For what it’s worth, a while back I became interested in the mystical world of pinhole. Reading here and there, one tip I remember is to form an indent in a thin sheet of metal, but not sufficient to puncture the material. Then sand or gently file the hill formed by deformation until the first hint of hole appears. Of course it’s a bit of guesswork to know when to stop, but as always an educated guess is better than nothing.

Wonderful, I'm very impressed with the colour you get from that kit, esp with expired film.

Haha yes I can see the confusion :)

When I read "hottest scooter in town" I was expecting to see some fancy Vespa or Lamberetta...  As I scrolled down, I saw what looked like a lamp post at first and thought, hmm... maybe he's uploaded the wrong photo!

Congratulations on the effort. And for the participation !

Very determined indeed. What catches my eye though is how film deals with the extreme contrast around the street sign. Little details like that just make my day.

There we are. And I found a Kodak D76 box in there so I can make a fancy dress party costume for a tortoise.

Now, where can a find a tortoise?

Beautiful scene Klaus.

Really beautiful. And also shows why an overcast sky is the biggest and best soft box of all for portrait photography.

During these challenging times I have sought out some of my photo images that nourish me with a sense of calm and bliss.

This is one of them. I visited Antarctica several years ago and was fortunate to see this continent before the massive climate changes that have occurred over the past few years.

A lot of people think visiting a place like this is a waste of time. However I beg to differ. The subtle interplay of sea and sky mixed with the pastel tones of ice and water make for an intoxicating cocktail of self reflection, humility, and peace.

We are an interloper here.

I hope you agree!

Love it Phil, he must have quite a reputation with that poster.

Evening  ride on a beautiful day in early April. I never pass this place without looking how the goldfish in the well are doing ... and than the distanced chatting of the girls caught my eye--they were as distanced as girls  can get chatting...

St. Kilda it is! I'm really impressed with how well you know your extended territory.

Very impressive results. Do you mind showing the gear you used, esp. the panorama camera? The sharpness in the second shot is stunning, I assume the pinhole was drilled with a lot of care and precision.

In my neighbourhood during the great lock down. XP2 developed in HC-110.

I used my 200mm f4 lens. I was recently looking at some urban landscapes made with long lenses. The point was to use to advantage the foreshortening that occurs with long lenses. This picture wins no prizes, but I like the foreshortening effect.
