Had a wonderful vantage point for the Macys Day Thanksgiving Parade this year, a friends apartment on Central Park West .... these shots are in Ektachrome, 50mm Summilux Leica MA, what I have discovered about Ektachrome is think digital -- expose for the highlights, in PP there is tremendous information in the shadows ... okay not quite like a sensor but that again, as you have seen in other shots this film can handle red better (channelling my inner Doc Henry here 🙂 )

Steve the color palette is " rich in details and color in the shadows"  when watching in example this picture  and IMO it's very difficult to have the equivalent in digital ....if you scan in addition  in Tiff and 24 bits

All your series have superb color Steve no doubt

Best

I guess that means I will have to start behaving myself now you're back!😉

Look at this Chris ... I posted several years ago . All pictures and crops are not corrected Scan in Tiff 16 bits with Nikon CS5000

Notice the "loss of details in the shadows" when you converted color in b&w .... and look at the details in the shadows with Kodak TX400

Camera Leicaflex SL +Portra 160 and Leica R4S + TX400 same lens 50 Summicron  for both and same aperture

Fun photos, Pete.  The B&W works well and your exposure and development are excellent.   I love this one the best.
