Good to have you connected up again Suede, you'll post some images from the heat I hope.

I learnt a new phrase from you last (mind you, I had to look it up), your "see you later" in French.

Regards

Gary

Cheers, Gary.

I'll do my best with taking the images but I'm not sure about posting yet. Developing and scanning places are scarce.

For example, looking for film in KL... I had a young shop assistant tell me yesterday that there would be no need to try! Incredible, the cheek!

Lovely light, eerily atmospheric.

I think they look very good. Double-X is one of my favourit b&w films because it is very versatile, plus it scans easily too. It is however a bit grainy. I've only tried it in HC-110 and Diafine and prefer it in the former. I look forward to seeing your D76 results.

Well, color me pleased!

I took possession of 400' of Eastman 5222 direct from Kodak in Rochester NY and this is the first roll shot with my Olympus Trip.

I shot it at EI 320 and souped it in HC110 B for 8 minutes. That wasn't my first choice of developers, I am waiting on some chems from PF to make D96 (the official developer for this film) but I couldn't wait any longer. :)

The negatives came out pretty good, slightly thin based on my recent developing of HP5, but they printed really really nicely.

Very nice color Philip :)

The "nuance"  between 4 red colors : the roof, the 2 red of boat , the lifebuoy on the white wall

the buoy in the water ... and the blue of sky .That's film !

Thanks

Henry

About three weeks ago they began taking down, what I assumed to be, a 40 or 50 year old house. I did not suspect what was concealed beneath:

I am aware that there are modified log cabins in the area; but this one was well concealed. A slight bit of contre jour...to boot.

A two-story log cabin. Must have been a very proud owner.

One of the first films I used is Kodachrome , with a camera that I just bought on credit

at a Leica shop in 1969 !
Many memories for me :)

Paris from 1969 (already 48 years)
Taken at Isos 64 only , a little backwards to see the quality of the film at the level of color

and level of conservation , intact and still beautiful photo to see , are you agree with me ?

....  more photos will follow  :)

Jardins du Trocadéro Paris

at night "the great waters"

1969

Kodachrome 64-Leicaflex SL-50 Summicron
