Hello everyone, greetings for 2017. I haven't posted a picture since around page 500, though I've been visiting and enjoying the show at "I like film".

Here is a photo taken at home of a group of volunteers organised by our neighbour to cut our overgrown hedge. A job done in community spirit.

Yes nice shot Suede

Glad to see you again here

Best wishes for the New Year

Best

H.

This bloke has what I call "a good face". A face like that makes any photo look interesting.

He is one of two security guards at a defunct tungsten mine at Wiang Pa Pao, Chiang Rai Province in Thailand. In the 1980s a landslide annihilated the village of some 1,000 people at the foot of the mountain, burying alive many of them — 300 to 900 people, depending who you speak to — as well as destroying completely the village school and buddhist temple.  Initially developed by a Swedish company, the mine was eventually relinquished as it was taken over by artisanal miners, whose uncontrolled activity caused the underground galleries to collapse and provoke the landslide. Below is a fuel tank truck at the mine site, where there is also a rusting ore benefaction plant.

Fog in the Woods - Lamington National Park, Queensland, Australia.

It was at times rainy, miserable morning when I started the hike in the national park.

I persisted and continued to hike, when I saw the clouds and fog enveloping the trail...

Adam this open market isn't in Jerusalem  but Marseille , south of France.

People look now for fresh vegetables directly coming from farm in the region

without pesticides.

Sales direct from farmers to consumers . I think it's a same thing in Jerusalem.

Who said grain is not beautiful ?  I mean "natural"  grain not artificial created by software.

This picture , may be "bad" is just to throw away isn't ?

I feel in watching the photo  an artistic side , may be for that reason I like and print

Now hanged in my office !

What do you think ?  May be I'm not normal , because now people like a perfectly

smoothed photo , well sharp
