andybarton Posted March 23, 2007 Author Share #13 Posted March 23, 2007 Thank you for your generous comments, folks. They really are much appreciated. I deliberately didn't post any details, as, for some reason, some people are prejudiced for/against one form of media over another. I becoming of the opinion that, providing a shot falls within the rules of the forum, it should be judged on its own merits, rather than whether it is digital or film, Delta 100 or Tri-X etc. I am pleased to confirm that this shot falls 100% within the forum rules. Leica body, Leica lens. PM me if you really want to know more
billh Posted March 24, 2007 Share #14 Posted March 24, 2007 I love the complimentary curves on the left and right sides of the picture.
jhc Posted March 24, 2007 Share #15 Posted March 24, 2007 Hi Andy, You clearly have a seeing eye. One's eyes sweep across and around those beautiful curves. Don't flip; rules of composition-light coming from the left. Well done.
leicamann Posted March 26, 2007 Share #16 Posted March 26, 2007 Andy some of your strongest work here..you can "see" that you've given this subject a lot of "visual thought"..thats the ticket...keep coming back to that "elusive somthing" thats there..this time you nailed it with a more personal touch...well done. Thanks for your post Regards, Leicamann
jim_royer Posted March 26, 2007 Share #17 Posted March 26, 2007 That's a great shot, Andy. Wish I were there, wherever it is. Minus the long plane ride of course. Jim
LichMD Posted March 26, 2007 Share #18 Posted March 26, 2007 Nicely seen and captured. Lovely framing, a shame that the lighthouse's shadow was obscured by the breaking wave.
stuny Posted March 26, 2007 Share #19 Posted March 26, 2007 Andy - Another wonderful lighthouse photo that I've saved to show to Barbara.
