robert_parker Posted July 23, 2012 Share #17 Â Posted July 23, 2012 A strong image, with just about everything in it - wickedly accurate DoF, superbly balanced composition, with the decision to place her just off centre judged perfectly and exciting colour which very much adds to the image and makes it work. Â The character herself is perfectly prepared and as John says, the effect of the stare (which could be unintentional on her part, as I think she is slightly short-sighted and wearing contact lenses for the evening) is profound and almost disturbing. Â All in all a really special image - would look great in a darkened gallery as a large transparency, lit from behind.
