Ok, here is a new one in the New World.  Let's see if someone can give the location, the name of the Greek Revival house and perhaps the reason some may think it's important and why I have photos of it.

Italy?

It seems too “squat” to be Italian so I’m thinking more a  Northern European “classical” interpretation.
Maybe Danish or Swedish?

But on the other hand it could be in any European city really…

Why did you give up on us so soon.  This thread tends to move slowly but someone will always come up with the answer and sometimes the answer comes in the very next post.  You can also give hints too if you find the participants getting bogged down or have fallen asleep.

I suggest that you post another one, the last one was an excellent example. Give us another chance.

Regards, Wally

Wally, thanks for the reply

i really had the impression that people were "sleeping" here.....;)

As written in my first post, i guess i somehow got caught between the "fronts".

After your photo contribution came the right solution and the "winner" should probably continue.... i had overlooked that and i didn't want to disturb this process

i won't be active here any further, since i don't have the necessary photographic architecture as a whole (rather small, unspecific buildings that probably nobody knows)

much fun yet !

Don't give up, most of the buildings posted here are ones that nobody knows because the other ones are too easy 😉

How about this one to keep us going? Name the (famous) architect of the building behind the trailer. Lots of hints in the picture actually.
