It appears that you have been there 😉

Perfect! Your turn.

Only virtually.

I saw it on a GoPro video of someone sculling on the Wörthersee while using my own rowing machine, and it was memorable enough to stick in my mind. ;)

Let's try this.

Hello Andy,

Could we be somewhere in or near the curve of land that is named after the fish?

Best Regards,

Michael

Michael, I like your guesses, they are often a riddle in itself.

I'm no ichthyologist, but I believe "near" to be correct - for a given value of "near." ;)

Hello Andreas,

3 dorsal fins, "whiskers" & 2 ventral fins: Cod.

The fish that Basque fisherman were catching off of the Coast of Newfoundland & then coming ashore to dry & salt (Baccala) long before Christobal Colon was old enough to be a Cabin Boy. The place: Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Best Regards,

Michael

How about the Massachusetts State Police barracks in Revere, Massachusetts?

That is correct! Very good! Originally built 1899 for the Massachusetts Metro Police, damaged by fire at least once and rebuilt.

Thanks. I had a couple pics of it from years ago but can’t find them due to my filing methods meaning I don’t have one. 🤭
