Well you're getting closer with N. America, Michael (H).

BTW I think the flag was corporate, rather than national. But it could have been municipal come to think of it.

An intersting insertion isn't it?

I'm perfectly happy to agree with you Michael. Actually we did not visit this building. The interesting insertion was what caught my eye. Perhaps it has become the Naval Museum since our visit.

Anyway - well done - over to you!

BTW a quick search implies that it's not the Chilean Navy flag.

I have never been to Chile - Google Images stated that this is a Naval Museum. I would like to go sometime (and maybe see if it really is a naval museum)...

This place does not allow photographs - so I learned after pressing the button. To narrow things considerably, this is not my local book store, if fact it is not in Montreal.

Well, that was fast. Indeed, it is the old reading room in the British Museum. This impressive room was used by a large number of famous people, including Sun Yat-sen, Karl Marx (he wrote Das Capital here), Oscar Wilde, Friedrich Hayek (no doubt inspired by Marx), Bram Stoker, Mahatma Gandhi, Rudyard Kipling, George Orwell, George Bernard Shaw, Mark Twain, Vladimir Lenin, Virginia Woolf, Arthur Rimbaud, Mohammad Ali Jinnah, H. G. Wells and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Brian - the challenge is now for your files.

OK guys, Have a go at this one.

I'll give you one clue - it might say Brasil, but it is not in that country. So where is this distinctive street frontage to be found?
