hektor Posted June 9, 2019 Share #12402 Â Posted June 9, 2019 I have never seen a Mercedes-Benz with such an instrument panel or steering wheel.

a.j.z Posted June 9, 2019 Share #12406 Â Posted June 9, 2019 The steering wheel looks like one I saw in a Cadillac.
wlaidlaw Posted June 9, 2019 Share #12407  Posted June 9, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Delage D8?  The instruments look like Jaeger which points to France or Italy. No rev counter means not a particularly sporty vehicle. Wilson
wlaidlaw Posted June 9, 2019 Share #12408  Posted June 9, 2019 As not sporty, maybe a Voisin C25 might be a better guess. The sleeve valve engine was probably self limiting on revs. Wilson
Rona!d Posted June 9, 2019 Share #12409  Posted June 9, 2019 No Cadillac, no Delage, no Voisin. Although it wasn´t a sportscar it was fast for it´s time, especially for it´s size and space.

wlaidlaw Posted June 10, 2019 Share #12414  Posted June 10, 2019 That has a very French feel to it and 1930's. The quality of the fittings would indicate a mid market car, so I am going to guess a Renault Vivasport 21CV of around 1938, although I have never seen one. I don't know what has happened to all the 1930's Renaults. When I go to classic car events in France, I see all the other marques but Renaults of the 1920's and 30's, almost never, other than the very occasional huge straight 8 limousine, with a body as big as a house. Wilson
Lmax Posted June 10, 2019 Share #12415 Â Posted June 10, 2019 French is right, but the car is a bit younger.
wlaidlaw Posted June 10, 2019 Share #12416  Posted June 10, 2019 I think it might be a Peugeot 203 Decouvrable from around 1951. Wilson

Rona!d Posted June 11, 2019 Share #12420  Posted June 11, 2019 And the next one. Maker and year of made please (no model name required). It is a serial made car (> 2.000 made, so not an exotic prototype). And I left the logo on the "grille".   Welcome, dear visitor!
