pippy Posted April 23, 2024 Share #21595  Posted April 23, 2024 Righty-Ho. Here's your next puzzler in 'Through the Glass Darkly : Name That House'. Taken on the same day as the Elgrand this one is also in Black'n'White but whereas the last one was White this one is Black... As much as you can. The car - although easily recognisable in some ways - had no model-badging and I'm not exactly an expert on the marque but I think I know the model so an extra prize might on offer for the lucky person who can read minds......😺...... NigelG Posted April 23, 2024 Share #21596 Â Posted April 23, 2024 That wiper set-up looks like it could be from a certain company who have released a very large number of different models over the years whose differences I could not begin to point out if they hadn't got the equally complicated number series on the back somewhere...are they often in bright colours?
wlaidlaw Posted April 23, 2024 Share #21597  Posted April 23, 2024 The two cars I know with Pantograph wipers are the Porsche 904-6 GT or at least the works racer ones did as can be seen below. This car was originally built as a 904 with the flat 8 Grand Prix Type 771 engine which was not a success and was converted after a couple of races to a 904-6, using the titanium flat 6 out of the 906 and 910, which has been developed to deliver over 250 BHP nowadays.  The other one I can think of is the V10 Porsche Carrera GT. Wilson  Welcome, dear visitor!
