I really should learn them myself. Usually I resort to cheating by using cut'n'paste from a website which is written in French......[blush]......

Ah Well! No worries. At least you identified the thing correctly. It is indeed a Nissan Elgrand ('E51 Second Generation + Second Facelift' apparently)

Philip.

Blimey, you were right about the "Ugly Stick" :D

Now that I've gotten myself into this, I can post a picture:

The basking-shark-like grill resembles something which might be found on the M-B AMG Project One but the glassware styling looks more Japanese.

Pretty Stumped so far...

Righty-Ho. Here's your next puzzler in 'Through the Glass Darkly : Name That House'.

Taken on the same day as the Elgrand this one is also in Black'n'White but whereas the last one was White this one is Black...

As much as you can. The car - although easily recognisable in some ways - had no model-badging and I'm not exactly an expert on the marque but I think I know the model so an extra prize might on offer for the lucky person who can read minds......😺......

That wiper set-up looks like it could be from a certain company who have released a very large number of different models over the years whose differences I could not begin to point out if they hadn't got the equally complicated number series on the back somewhere...are they often in bright colours?

The two cars I know with Pantograph wipers are the Porsche 904-6 GT or at least the works racer ones did as can be seen below. This car was originally built as a 904 with the flat 8 Grand Prix Type 771 engine which was not a success and was converted after a couple of races to a 904-6, using the titanium flat 6 out of the 906 and 910, which has been developed to deliver over 250 BHP nowadays.  The other one I can think of is the V10 Porsche Carrera GT.

Erm...Yes. Absolutely Right on All Details. As far as they go. I think. Just need a teentsy-little bit more detail and then you can be declared The Winner!......😸......

Lovely photo! I'll never get tired of seeing pictures of the Porsche 904. One of the most beautiful sports-racers ever made.

The mystery car, however, does not come from Stuttgart.
