Wilson got is, a 1917 American LaFrance in Peking. I drove it in Australia after the fire-engine was converted. It was awful: Welcome, dear visitor! pippy Posted August 1, 2022 Share #18107  Posted August 1, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Sorry for the delay! OK; as AZach said it is a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen. This particular one is an MB-G 63 V8 Bi-Turbo AMG version. Not my cup of tea by 1,000,000 miles but I'm certain it's a very capable performer; Welcome, dear visitor! AZach Posted August 1, 2022 Share #18108  Posted August 1, 2022 Flat glass. windscreen angle and window profile - you cannot mistake that one. Usually they are either black or other dark color. The next car is also black: Welcome, dear visitor! I recall years ago when my wife decided she needed a "Chelsea Tractor" for the school run, I looked at a second hand G300D. The RHD version could not have a turbocharger due to the location of the steering column. You only needed a calendar to time the zero to 60 MPH time. I bought her a new Long Wheel Base Nissan Patrol instead, assuming Japanese reliability. I did not realise it was made in the Land Rover Santana plant in Spain. For the three years we had it, I would guess it spent about 30% of its time being repaired or waiting for spare parts. The Daihatsu Four Track that replaced it was far more reliable and had far more "oommph" for towing horse and racing car trailers. Wilson

After that everything seems to have enough power. The Daihatsu could tow my 4 wheel racing car trailer with the race car on it at over 80MPH on French Autoroutes. Wilson
