Advertisement Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Hi stuny, Take a look here Name this car..... I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
hektor Posted June 10, 2020 Share #13142 Posted June 10, 2020 Wilson came the closest with the suggestion of a 6c, however said 6c had smaller brakes. Nevertheless Wilson came closet; in fact very close. Welcome, dear visitor! hektor Posted June 10, 2020 Share #13143 Posted June 10, 2020 In the late seventies the 8c was returned to its original French blue and is now owned by Evert Louwman in the Netherlands. The car was painted blue for Louis Chiron who first drove it at Le Mans (DNF) in 1933.
wlaidlaw Posted June 10, 2020 Share #13144 Posted June 10, 2020 (edited) I did not spot the "bustle" fin in the small crop in shadow, as our 1935 8C 2600 Corsa has a polished aluminium strip on it and a slightly different chassis arrangement at the rear. It was Jim not me who suggested a 6C. My favourite pre-war car by some margin. Wilson Welcome, dear visitor!
