Dear Stuart, So that I do not breach any rules, am I correct in assuming that photographs posted are: 1. taken with a Leica? 2. and are not in breach of German copyright laws? I am reliably advised that German copyright protection ceases seventy years after the death of the copyright holder. It has been a long time since this thread began and when the rules were established. Yours sincerely Hektor

AZach Posted October 31, 2018 Share #11511  Posted October 31, 2018 The interesing story of Leica and Dr. Paul Wolff is well-known and widely published. A good summary by T. Overgaard can be found: http://www.overgaard.dk/the-story-behind-that-picture-0122_gb-Dr-Paul_Wolff.html. The vintage Audi commercial is a nice picture, the shots by the members themselves build the interest of this thread. When I was in Heidelberg in October I saw the photo below of the same car which had been taken along the banks of the River Neckar in Heidelberg around the same time. It was at night when I took this (pardon the quality, it was a big crop from a smartphone photo). This was in a gallery and I should, perhaps, have gone back the following day to examine it in more detail, but I got distracted by other aspects of Heidelberg.
