Advertisement Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 Hi a.j.z, Take a look here Name this car..... I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wlaidlaw Posted August 23, 2018 Share #11242 Posted August 23, 2018 Landini Velite? Correct. In the UK these are called an L25 but they may have a name elsewhere. I looked at buying this one but having seen the quite large (compared to me) owner, struggle to start it, I decided against. I am still looking for a Series 3 Porsche Master Diesel 4C tractor, with electric starting. Your turn. Wilson Welcome, dear visitor! a.j.z Posted August 23, 2018 Share #11243 Posted August 23, 2018 When looking for the Landini I discovered that there apparently is a large community collecting tractors. The last time I drove a tractor was in the 80s on the farm of relatives in Bavaria. It maybe was an old Fendt, but I am not sure. Now they have very modern tractors with AC etc. In Austria you of course come across Steyr tractors frequently. I will post later today.

wlaidlaw Posted August 23, 2018 Share #11245 Posted August 23, 2018 The man who comes to roll, harrow and mow our fields, since the death of our old David Brown 995, not only has air conditioning and a sound system in his enormous 4WD John Deere 8R 450HP tractor but has GPS navigation for ploughing in dead straight lines. a.j.z Posted August 23, 2018 Share #11246 Posted August 23, 2018 And soon you will be able to RC them from home (if this does not exist anyway).

stuny Posted August 23, 2018 Share #11248 Posted August 23, 2018 This appears to be a recent pseudo off-road vehicle (so many utes in the US only go off-road to park on the grass at their kid's games). The rather nice all season tires suggest it's not for real off-road use, but the body styling seems to give the impression of "rugged off-rad capability" which the focus groups wanted. a.j.z Posted August 23, 2018 Share #11249 Posted August 23, 2018 I think that the off road capabilities of this vehicle are very limited. But I took the picture in the US.

The picture was taken in Yosemite NP in July just days before they closed it (the valley was full of smoke). You could rent these three wheelers there (I didn,t). I cannot post the pictures now, so instead a link to the manufacturer: https://slingshot.polaris.com/en-us/#line-up Edited August 23, 2018 by a.j.z
