Taken at my friend's flat in Vienna and sporting my old X1 (which LeicaShop were kind enough to exchange for a nice, mint Elmar-M 50mm) and a graze from a scooter crash :)

Yep a bit like the guy in the middle too !!!! but I'm hoping to remedy that over the next few months. When I get a chance I'll PM you and I can bring you up to date. Just lets say that I'm well and truly glad that 2013 is over, perhaps this year might get a bit easier.

Best wishes

Mike :)

Good to see you back on here, Mike :)

Thanks for that comment David, its nice to be back maybe not to prolific at the moment though. Whilst its almost a month since the funeral, I've got a lot to do sorting out his estate/affairs and looking after my sister. Still thats what 'little brothers' are for.

A belated Happy New Year to you and your family.

Best wishes

Mike :)

The average age might be much older than you are now, but the young pictures you can see above I did with my Leica too.

I did own my first Leica, a M3 with about 19.;)

You don't look at all like your avatar.

I am fading from this life with no shame. Permit me to post a photo of my face after I crashed my bicycle while carrying my brand new Leica M9.

You are not too young. Pursue your vision and entirely ignore all metric, aesthetic and any other posits which attempt to steer you away from the vision you wish to pursue.

Eckart, long time, no see! Hope you are well. I bought my first Leica, a M3 in 1973! This is still my favorite M film camera. All the best. Ben

Yes I am well, thank you for asking.

How are you?

My first Leica was stolen in 1983, not a long time after this pictures, but I still know her Nummer 701 413.
