You have to appreciate it when a company takes the time to respond to people individually as Ryan has done. The only part I find really frustrating about the entire waiting exercise is lack of information... But I'm sure Ryan is kept as much in the dark by Leica as anyone. But the only people who can answer your question are Leica. As far as I know, they only tell Ryan the quantity when they actually make a shipment. So even if Leica intend to ship 50 units tomorrow, Adeal won't know until they actually ship... and that information then has to filter through the dealer network to us/you. I would happily fly over the pond to pick it up and try it out in the mountains... Originally I placed my order in NYC because I thought they would get it earlier- but who knows- there must be several hundred on pre-order in NYC alone... My dealer had 14 ahead of me 3 weeks ago. I am thinking I should put my name on another list- though I paid in full already... in this market offloading a spare M9 should be super easy... He was trying to avoid stepping on toes as this is a thread about the Aussie price... that is the NZ price. Still, you could about break even and get return flights.
