As Leica increasingly rolls out new lens designs that focus closer than 0.7m, I figured it would be a good time to start a thread featuring images taken with these lenses. Please upload photos taken with Leica-branded M lenses with a native minimum focusing distances less than 0.7m (e.g. 35 Lux FLE II, 50 Lux Asph II, 35 APO, etc.). Images featured here should be taken at a distance less than 0.7m. Please let us know what lens you used! I'll start us off with a few taken with the 50 Lux Asph II with an M10

How do you master close focus of Summicron 75? It can focus down to 0.7 meter, which is great. However, due to range finder, I cannot frame the subject properly. Any tip please? Thanks you.

Please post your images at closest focus made with this Karbe gem, the 75mm f2 APO Summicron-M ASPH. It apparently has a similar reproduction ratio (highest at 1:7) to the new close focus Summilux 50 ASPH II 2023 (highest at 1:6.4). I am especially interested in your images with humans (portraits, sensual nudes, whatever you do), but any other subject at close focus will also do fine. Please no 75 lux or 75 Summarit or 75 SL.

Hi, everyone! Please make me sure, that I'm correct, if I have these thoughts about this lens: - Changeable, but non-standardized (not interchangeable): - no "0" on the mount anywhere (as I know this is not a prove) - close focus to 0,5, that I can't use with my modded Leica II (I->II standardized), because it's uncoupled - below one meter the finder "jumps" - it has three digits serial number, as I know the last three digits from the body's serial, that ensures, that it can be used only with the body it was built for. (if it's true, 2307 pieces were made of this kind of Elmar 35mm) I gathered these information, and want to be sure, if they are correct. S o please help me, if you can! And one other question! If these things are true - is there any chance to find the body? Best regards! Jeremy
