jplomley Posted September 1, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 1, 2009 I just loaded a roll of Neopan 400 into my M7. The order of the Universe has now been restored. Long may it last.
arminw Posted September 1, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 1, 2009 James I am amused by all those speculations and rather sit quietly in the corner and observe. the 9th will sure come, and then we'll now ... I am amazed how much time people have to waste on speculations ...... Armin
roguewave Posted September 1, 2009 Share #4 Posted September 1, 2009 James, why don't you take the time to post some further shots from your venturing into urban landscapes?
wilfredo Posted September 1, 2009 Share #5 Posted September 1, 2009 I think many of us are looking for a little Leica excitement but I sense there is very little to be had. Nothing major coming down the pipeline. This is getting a bit boring, but the humor has been great. GO LEICA GO LEICA... Has anyone organized a Leica party anywhere? A Place where people can gather to embrace each other when the moment of truth comes, either to sob or rejoice in euphoric FF Leica pixel exultation (LOL)??? MPerson Posted September 1, 2009 Share #6 Posted September 1, 2009 James - come and join me in the bunker, you can't hear the rampaging mob with mass hysteria down here, just the odd whiff of the burning torches! I still get my digital kicks with my D2s when I feel the need and am content.

Guest guy_mancuso Posted September 2, 2009 Share #11 Posted September 2, 2009 Ketel is fine Bill. Thanks for thinking of me. I have to say i have read a few threads and some folks really have a imagination. It's great but I think whatever comes will be very simple. Myself I am looking at Leica taking that M8 sensor and drop it in a CL type body, if they do that I'm back in. I need something that is not a anchor to hit the streets with. Also low cost , oh wait we are talking Leica here. What will be interesting to see if a M9 is announced what it will do to the used market on M8's maybe worth going back to one. I actually enjoyed the M8 warts and all. But hard two have to expensive systems in tow so i went bigger. But something to throw over the shoulder and run out the door is what I personally would like to have. Well see and wait Okay back to the bunker
Tenor1 Posted September 2, 2009 Share #12 Posted September 2, 2009 I had NO idea what was going on in this forum as my usual haunt is the Digital area. Maybe a consultation with some sort of psychic is in order, JUST kidding!
Minos Posted September 2, 2009 Share #13 Posted September 2, 2009 Yup but I am bunkering down untill than. Can't keep up with all the speculation. LOL someone drop in the bunker with a bottle of vodka. PLEASE Guy, I'll bring a couple of bottles of St Emilion and an assortment of Belgian Beers lovingly brewed by monks in medieval abbeys. (A bit like the R&D department in Solms.) I must say, I'm enjoying the 28 Days Later-kind of hysteria a lot. Watching from the sidelines, it warms my heart that a possible birth in the M-lineup stirs such a racket. This wouldn't have happened a number of years ago, when Leica wasn't doing too well. No, it's clear that Leica is very much alive. Excellent! P.S. Could someone bring some crisps?
epand56 Posted September 2, 2009 Share #14 Posted September 2, 2009 I hope for all those excited people waiting for September 9th that this will not turn to be like the famous "end of the world" often foretold by the Jehovah's witness and, luckily, never arrived... Nigel Roberson Posted September 2, 2009 Share #15 Posted September 2, 2009 I am sure all the speculation and hype created about the M9 has been music to the ears of Leica, to the extent that every time more excitement is rumoured the price goes up another £50.
