Advertisement (gone after registration)

After the dreadful 1950's ferry ticket office was demolished there was an opportunity to leave a clear view of three of the UK's finest buildings; instead this eyesore and an even larger one have been allowed to destroy the view from the river.

You might be forgiven for supposing that this "thing" performs some vital function; in fact it houses a shop selling Liverpool Football Club shirts, a Beatles "experience" and a bar. You cannot even buy ferry tickets there. :(

Oh well, they'll go broke in half a year, so there's always a chance they'll do something useful with it

 

Thing is, in itself it may even be nice (if you go for modern architecture), but what city council is giving their fiat when you see it in this particular spot? I mean, it degrades BOTH buildings.
