Hello everyone

 

Here is the voting from the Burnham on Sea jury:

 

1) It Doesen't Get Much Worse Than This - Essemmlee - 3 points

 

Stood out at once for the use of the strong diagonal and the texture of the patterns, as well as the subject

 

2) Disparity - Brent N - 2 points

 

Doesen't quite have the slap in the face impact of Essemmlee's photo but the irony is strong and the photo as ever beautifully executed

 

3) Seen in Southampton - Dave Simmons - 1 point

 

Strongly communicates recession and the framing, the ramshackle look of the shop and the sign all make this work for me.

 

Honorable mention for tfreudenberger's 'Over 100 Years' as I remember standing and looking in the windows of that shop in Georgstrasse many years ago - I think at the time one window contained two nice car radios and a minox 'spy' camera. :)
