vdb Posted January 10, 2009 Share #2 Posted January 10, 2009 Nice series, great colors, somber mood?
stuny Posted January 10, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 10, 2009 Theo - Also excellent, but for some reason I prefer the other set.

badpets Posted January 10, 2009 Share #6 Posted January 10, 2009 These portraits of people all look very stressed. As documentary, I think you did a great job by showing the reality of the floating market. I personally do not like the last picture because the woman's expression is not so pleasant. But again, it's great in the sense of capturing the reality. In addition, somehow I feel that focus of all images never land on the faces, somehow objects in the font (like the fruits) are the sharpest. Maybe lens has front focus problem? Anyone feel the same way like I do?
jc_braconi Posted January 10, 2009 Share #7 Posted January 10, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Fabulous, I would like to get colors and tones like that.
jmr Posted January 11, 2009 Share #8 Posted January 11, 2009 Theo, I, like Ben, prefer the fourth frame - the engagement with the subject is nice and strong and the cool earth-colours and blues work well. I concur with badpets observation on the slight focus issues; it doesn't hurt the pictures too much in my opinion.

I wait till the R10 or S2 is coming out and change then my whole equipment. Anyways all of you thanks for looking and the comments, I appreciate it.
