lanetomlane Posted September 28, 2009 Share #124 Posted September 28, 2009 4 weeks tomorrow, folks. Has everyone who wants to join the gang for a meal on Saturday, made their presence known to Carl? I'm certain I did, but just to be sure I would confirm that Eileen and I would like to be included. Look forward to meeting you all in Malta and putting some faces to familiar names. _____________________________ Best regards, Tom Photography by Tom Lane

topoxforddoc Posted October 1, 2009 Share #128 Posted October 1, 2009 Carl, I would love to be there, but sadly can't make it. Work and my patients get in the way! I'm very envious. It would have been fascinating to see where Azzo gets all his subject matter from! Have a great time. But I can't complain as I'm in Vancouver now visiting mmy 94 year old Grandmother and having a beer with Tom Abrahamsson and the other Vancouver Leica users. richam Posted October 10, 2009 Share #134 Posted October 10, 2009 Did a Google Map of most locations of interest: Sliema Malta - Google Maps. Hope you find it useful. Please advise of any needed corrections.
spylaw4 Posted October 10, 2009 Share #135 Posted October 10, 2009 Useful - thanks! BTW - for those that are interested. According to my worldwide chart, Malta uses the standard GB square 3-pin plug. I would of course welcome correction in case my chart is wrong! Thought folks might like to know.

bill Posted October 10, 2009 Share #138 Posted October 10, 2009 Never mind winning, what's the weather going to be like, Azzo? Do I pack shorts or a tweed suit? :D Regards, Bill
azzo Posted October 10, 2009 Share #139 Posted October 10, 2009 Hi guys Best pack some of both and be safe. Seriously now. It might get slightly chilly in the eve but it won't be cold. A light jacket should be OK I guess. As for rain, you can't really tell. We had some showers last week but this week was sunny all the time.
