Keith (M) Posted August 13, 2017 Share #581 Posted August 13, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I believe that the R 90 Elmarit and the M 90 Elmarit are optically the same. Personally I would say and certainly from my experience with the M lens, that it's the very best of all the 90's. Should be a great lens on your R5 Keith. Judging by first results (from a roll of Neopan 400 shot Sat afternoon) I have to agree.

SilentShutter Posted December 4, 2017 Share #594 Posted December 4, 2017 Leica never was a bargain so what´s cheap ? My first R was a Leica R3mot I bought used with a leaking filmwindow on the backside. I asked CS and get the foam to repair back for free. My two second R were used Leica R7´s and at one the film rewinder on top broke. I complained about this and get the repair for free without any costs. ganzosrevenge Posted December 30, 2017 Share #600 Posted December 30, 2017 Leicaflex has a nice new elmarit by ganzology, on Flickr Leicaflex has a nice new elmarit by ganzology, on Flickr My Leicaflex Standard Mk2 got a nice shiny 90mm f/2.8 Elmarit Mk1 for Hanukkah. It was happy... I left the 90mm behind when I initially bought the Leicaflex Standard, but I went back for it.
