I looked at my SL3 manual for all of the possible icons that can show on the display in menu mode and in photo review mode.  I did not find any that show stabilization mode.  It is easy to get to in the menu.  I wonder if it is a quick icon option.  If so, then it might work to see an icon indicating status.  I’ll try in the morning and see if it works that way!

Yes, but the OP is not asking about the menu or how to switch it on/off. He is asking about the indication in the viewfinder. I have no SL3 to check but it is hard to imagine that it differs from other IBIS cameras.

I was answering the post #6 (just above my post).

In SL3, no EVF/LCD icon indicates whether the stabilization is turned on or off. It does sound like an omission. OTOH, I never check the stabilization icon where available, as there are always too many icons (information overload). I was surprised a couple of times when my stabilization turned off after using the camera on a tripod.
