Version 2.1.2 was quite okay, but the promised improvements were too tempting to resist. I jumped in. Updating through Leica FOTOS went smoothly.

There's just one thing I noticed when I reverted to factory settings. The low battery prompt just appeared out of nowhere. My battery was fully charged. It did revert the settings, but I did that twice just to be sure. I got worried about the prompt and it's good that it did not appear again. 😅 Hoping for the best. 🤞

going to try update my m11d from 2.1.2 to 2.1.3 tonight !

i am just wondering what happened to the earlier posts from this morning under "Firmware Update 2.1.3" that are obviously related to this 'Thema' here.  they are now called "Oops! You do not have permission to view this topic"... ?  will the Administrators merge them into the current topic here ?

I went to start the update and it looked like it hadn't acknowledged my 'save profiles to memory card' so I clicked again and I think I may have clicked and accidently held right or left on the d-pad and it asked if I wanted to install 'dev 0.0.0.0' Firmware (or something along those lines). I switched it off and on again to do the normal update but thought that might be interesting for any mavericks more daring than me out there... :D Could have just been a glitch or an actual dev firmware version.

Just updated my M11-D using Fotos. The red-light on the base of the camera and the one visible on the front of the viewfinder both flashed for rather longer than I expected but did finish successfully. Everything seems to be working fine.

So far so good. Minor freezes i used to have at startup seem to be gone.

Correction: Freezes appear again. Still minor ones. Suffice it to half press the shutter release to fix the issue in the best cases but in the worse ones, a pop out of the card is necessary..

Downloaded update to MacBook and with SD card newly formatted added download and reinserted in M11P. Forgot where to look in menu for updating (last page, Camera Information, and you are asked if you wish to update). Took around 4-5minutes then screen went black. Feared the worst but switched camera off then on. All fine!

Everyone, don't forget to do a factory reset before reporting you're still having issues.

Updated via Fotos and worked smoothly.
Just a few items of note when I installed the update through fotos; I did not see any ‘restart the camera’ notification although the camera did shutdown after the red bar install so I assumed that the update had installed. After the camera shut itself down and since I was connected to my iPhone/fotos (the camera’s blue light was on and thus connected) I verified in Fotos confirming that the version number on the camera was now 2.1.3. Since the camera was turned off (I assumed it turned off) I gave it quite a few minutes before I turned the camera on just to be safe. Reset the camera to factory, imported my profiles back and it all worked perfectly.
