Sure, the Q3 has 60MP and plenty of crop-ability, but there are times when it would be nice to have all megapixels available at a longer focal length. I've been thinking about this. How much would you pay for each adapter? Leica knows you can buy a Q3 for 28mm use if they end up releasing a 43mm version; but they probably also know that only a handful of people would buy and carry both. So there may be some merit to creating both wide angle and tele adapters if they don't degrade the optical quality too much. Would you pay 1/3-1/2 the price of a 28mm Q3 for each for the luxury of not having to buy a whole different camera?

I used the adapters and found them heavy and defeating the purpose of the camera. I wanted to like the Fuji but it was not a Leica with lower build quality, the viewfinder was crunchy feeling, and the ove4all image quality just wasn’t there for me. so i’d vote no to any adapters or lowering optical quality. LocalHero1953 Posted September 9, 2024 Share #212 Posted September 9, 2024 What is it with Q lenses that they don't make them as round numbers? The 28mm is apparently a 26mm, so will the Q43 be marketed as a Q50?

The Q43 if it ever shows up, is Thant likely a Q40? though one needs to keep in mind that wide angle needs this buffer more than a normal focal length
